Sacred Sword Intensive for Single Sword

I'm very excited to be offering an intensive on Sacred Sword, a format created by my dear teacher and friend Melody Orullian Bustillos and based on FatChanceBellyDance®Style.

This 12-hour intensive will give you the opportunity to learn Sacred Sword in a safe space. We will learn different movements based on the FatChanceBellyDance®Style vocabulary, different ways to hold a sword (as instructed by Melody Orullian Bustillos in the Sacred Sword format), formations, and ways to improvise together. No knowledge of the FCBD®Style format will be required: we will go through the list of moves following the pace of the group, i.e., we can dive deeper into the technique of each step if and when needed.

 

The intensive will take place in La Caminada Tanzstudio in Böckhstr. 21, 10967 Berlin (near U Schönleinstr.) on 21st and 22nd November 2026.

Each day will be structured as follows:

  • 10:00-12:00h first part

  • 12:00-12:15h short break

  • 12:15-13:15h second part

  • 13:15-14:15h lunch break

  • 14:15-16:15h third part

  • 16:15-16:30h short break

  • 16:30-17:30h fourth part

Prices

Early-bird rate until 30th September 2026: 160€

Full-price from 1st October 2026: 185€

You can choose to pay in two instalments:

- Early-bird price: 1st instalment 80€ due 10 days after registration; 2nd instalment 80€ due on 15th September 2026; 50€ exam fee due on 1st April 2026.

- Full price: 1st instalment 92,50€ due 10 days after registration; 2nd instalment 220€ due on 1st November 2026.
