Terms and Conditions

N.B. in the following Terms and Conditions, the event organiser and teacher Yuri Ferretti will be referred to as "teacher".

Participation

• We will schedule your private class via email after purchase.

• You will receive a Zoom link nearer the date of the event.

Payment

• The purchase of a place at this event applies to you personally. You may not sell, transfer, assign or lend it to another person without prior permission from the organiser.

Refund and cancellation

• All workshop fees are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation by the teacher, alternative dates will be organised to make up for the workshops cancelled.

• In case of force majeure, e.g., pandemic, war, natural disasters, government measures due to such events or other unforeseeable impediments for which the teacher is not responsible, the event will be rescheduled after the duration of the impediment plus a reasonable start-up period. In that case, the teacher will do his best to find new dates that will work for all registered participants.

• If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, you’ll be able to watch the recordings online.

• No refunds will be given if a participant is unable to attend the event or part of the event due to any reason that is not caused by the teacher.

• The registration fees will not be refunded in case you're not able to connect via Zoom due to problems with the internet connection on your side.

• A class can be reschedule once with a 48-hour notice from class begin. After that, the class can’t be rescheduled.

Photography and Video

• The teacher reserves the right to take photos, videos, and full recordings of our classes, workshops and events for press and other promotional uses – please advise at the time should you wish to opt out.

• You are not allowed to take pictures or film parts or the full workshops unless otherwise agreed with the teacher.

• A recording will be available online for a month after the class. You're not allowed to download the videos or share the link of the video or to show the recording to anybody who hasn't attended the event. If you share the link with someone else who hasn't paid for the workshops, your access to the recordings will be revoked and your access to the following workshops denied. This will not grant you any refunds.

Health commitment statement

• Your health, safety, and wellbeing are your own responsibility.

• By purchasing a place in the online workshops or the recordings, you confirm that you have no known condition or are undergoing any treatment that would prevent you from being capable of physical exercise in all material aspects.

• If you are concerned or know that you may have a medical condition that may affect your dancing, you should seek medical advice prior to attending classes or workshops.

• If you feel ill or injure yourself during the event or while practising you should stop exercising, should let the teacher know immediately (in case of an online workshop) and seek appropriate help.

• There are risks when exercising. You should not undertake any exercises that you have been told are not suitable for you.

• You agree that by taking part in this event or purchasing the recordings, you are participating voluntarily and do so at your own risk. You agree to release and discharge the teacher (Yuri Ferretti) from any and all claims or causes of action.

• Remember that, for online classes/workshops, your instructor is unable to physically see you to make any corrections to your movements so it is your responsibility to ensure that you exercise to your own abilities and limits. You should always exercise in a safe manner.

Conditions for attending the event

• The participant hereby states that they are healthy and fit for physical activities.

• The participant is responsible for their own physical health and absolves the teacher (Yuri Ferretti) from any responsibility.

• You agree not to share usernames, passwords or other access credentials that would allow access to the event to unregistered persons.

• You agree not to share the link of the video or to show the recording to anybody who hasn't attended the event.

Your Commitment to the Organiser

You will be expected to have:

• Adequate bandwidth and a stable internet connection.

• The latest version of the Zoom app.

• An adequate device for the purpose of the event - preferably a laptop.

• A sword with an open handle (Baladi, Hanwei etc. work best).

• A headpiece or scarf for balancing.

• You will enjoy a better event experience if you are able to use the Zoom Desktop client for Windows or Mac.

Please note mobile phones and some tablets have limited Zoom functionality.

Privacy policy

• All personal information needed for registration is only processed by the teacher for the aims of the event. They will neither be shared nor published.
